2014 Toyota 4Runner First Drive & Review

          The 2014 Toyota 4Runner is one of the last remaining old school SUV's. In other words, it still is a traditional body on frame vehicle. That means it is rigid and very strong but also heavy and thirsty. The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requires each of the nationwide credit reporting companies — Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion — to provide you with a free copy of your credit report, at your request, once every 12 months. Any dealership will need to run your report before financing your loan, but you can find out if there are any errors on your report before getting too deep into the process. This can save you time and money.

What is the Biggest Car Buying Mistake You Ever Made?

          I can think back to my younger days when I was in a hurry to buy a car. I made a few mistakes, paid too much, and ended up with a jet black Nissan 300ZX sports car in time for a snowy Wisconsin winter. Looking back, the mistake was not too bad. I enjoyed the car, paid it off over time, and did not mind driving five miles per hour during snow storms with my rear wheel drive ROCKET of a car. Zoom, zoom, and zoom!!!

What Are You Grateful For?

     Gratitude is an attitude that can change your life. Try to list out, speak out out, or visualize all that you are grateful for. When you do this, pay attention to how how your mood or state changes. When your mood or state changes then your actions change. When you positivity change your actions you get positive results.

      In my life I am most grateful for faith, family, and friendships. Grateful for the life and family God gave me. I am thankful for my wife, Robin, she is an awesome lady, wife, friend, lover, and friend. I appreciate greatly how she speaks into my life and our children's life. I am grateful for Natalie, our eldest daughter. She is an amazing young lady, daughter, and friend to others. I appreciate how she is taking responsibility for her life each day.

     I am happy Sam is our second daughter. Her smile and fun-loving attitude makes my day, and I know she is a bring light for others. Elaina is an amazing ten-year-old who takes great care and has fun with her brother, Caden, 6, and Aubrie, 3. I know all of the children will find our new son a most welcome blessing. I am thankful we can all grow, stretch, and struggle with living with each other, but I can see the love and blessing we all are to each other.

     There are many other things I am thankful for. Friends like the Howell's, Kirchner's, Kelly, the Goodman's, people at church, at work, workplaces that pay us money for our time and give us opportunity for more. The list goes on and on.

          Welcome to the Toyota Scion Fort Myers Insider's Guide on car buying. Have you ever thought of car buying as stressful? I know as my wife, Robin, and I have bought cars over the years, we have felt the stress and pain of buying a car. The purpose of this blog is to help you and others overcome this stress and get the right car for you.
          This past week I started a career as a car salesman here in Fort Myers. I can tell you everyone I have met sells cars for a noble purpose. A car salespeople is a person like you, working hard, and supporting his or her family. Some the salespeople have amazing skill, others simply work hard, and many have a combination in between those two extremes. 
          As I begin to learn the auto industry, I believe the best way to learn is to teach others what I learn. So, buckle up your seat belt, check your blind spot mirrors, and turn on the engine.
